Eddie Baird and Darryl Ebbatson have worked together since 2002 when Darryl was asked to be the sound man for the Amazing Blondel tour of Italy in Feb of that year.
Eddie kindly agreed to provide the lead vocals on some tracks Darryl had been working on for some time and the result was the album 'Space to Hula' which was released in June 2004.
Encouraged by the response to this project, another album was recorded and released in 2008. 'Bare Facts' also featured contributions from The Who keyboard player John 'Rabbit' Bundrick and Les Wilson from the Tannahill Weavers.
Darryl and Ed are currently involved in various ventures, including the new CD from Rabbit on which Ed has co-written many of the songs as well as singing on all of them - Darryl is producing the album for release.
Ed is also involved in the re-release of 4 of the Blondel albums produced after the departure of John Gladwin and never before available on CD, as well as a new compilation of his solo material, and a new Blondel album with Terry Wincott, slated for release in the Spring of 2010.
